Sarah Thompson DiPaolo is a Registered Dietitian Nutrition, NYS Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist, Certified Diabetes Educator, Certified Personal Trainer and Founder/Owner of Western New York Nutrition. She holds Masters of Science and Bachelors Degrees in Dietetics from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY.

Sarah has practiced as a Registered Dietitian since 2003 in a variety of clinical settings and private practice. Sarah's mission is to help people achieve optimal health and vitality through personalized nutrition & lifestyle changes. Sarah uses the fundamentals of nutrition science coupled with cutting edge research to help her patients formulate realistic goals that are tailored to their unique needs. She attends multiple nutritional and medical conferences across the country each year to stay current with the latest nutritional research and therapies. She is continually researching and implementing new practices and is committed to providing the most comprehensive treatment and care for her patients. Sarah has attended and completed all the modules through The Institute of Functional Medicine. She is actively worked towards her Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner (IFNCP) through The Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy.

Sarah has counseled hundreds of individuals on the benefits of healthy eating. She believes that everyone can make dietary changes, despite hectic schedules, with increased knowledge and commitment. Sarah spends her days educating people about healthy food choices and strategies for incorporating these foods into everyday life. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys the outdoors and loves all seasons of the year. Hiking, biking, walking her yellow lab, running and swimming are her favorite warm weather activities.  She enjoys downhill skiing, x-country skiing, and snowshoeing in the winter months. Sarah is an avid gardener and loves to cook.

 

With Custom Dietetics PC, she provides private, individual counseling in person, via phone, and via Telehealth. She works with her clients specializing in breast cancer, weight management, healthy eating for enhanced energy levels, lipid control, physical fitness, vitamin supplementation. Other areas of expertise include celiac disease, ulcerative colitis, diabetes, lactose intolerance, food sensitivities, and heart health.
