Gastrointestinal (GI) Disorders
Have you used terms like “uncomfortable,” “embarrassing,” or “stressful” to describe your GI disorder and symptoms?
Have you left a fun event early or cancelled plans entirely because of your GI disorder?
Silent sufferers, here is where your silence and hesitation ends. We want to start an open, respectful dialogue with you about your unique experiences with your disorder, your reasons for seeking a dietitian, and what results you’re looking for.
We’re here to help you improve your quality of life by giving you quality care and developing a health plan for specific to you and your needs.
Digestive diseases represent one of the Nation's most serious health problems in terms of discomfort and pain.
We know that gastrointestinal (GI) disorders are unpleasant in more ways than one. Untreated, GI disorders can drastically affect quality of life. The good news is that, often, a switch in your eating pattern can help relieve some or all your symptoms.
We can help you identify the right eating pattern, foods to incorporate into your plan and foods to avoid. We will also work with you to restore your confidence in eating again and reduce fear that surrounds mealtime.
This is why Christina doesn’t need medication anymore
“I am so pleased with my results after consulting with Custom Dietetics. After suffering for 2 years with IBS after an acute hospitalization with severe pancolitis, I was only able to consume a limited diet. I was existing on low fiber, simple carbohydrates, & processed foods. With no significant improvement in my symptoms, I would add another medication to improve my gut function. Since working with my dietitian, I am able to eat just about anything. After following recommendations inclusive of a gut detox & herbal supplements, I no longer need my multiple medications for my IBS. I am able to eat the foods that I enjoy, without any side effects. There is a lot to be said about alternative healing methods. I feel like my entire gut biome has changed for the better. I am enjoying life again.”
